Course 212: Selling Avocent Enterprise Solutions

This 3-hour course is designed to take the student through the stages of a sales cycle from generating a lead to adding value after the sale.  In each lesson, we discuss the stage of the sales cycle and available tools to assist in moving to the next level. The Enterprise solutions, both digital and analog, will be covered in the course with the student participating interactive software demonstrations and simulations enabling them to become familiar with the features of DSView® 3 management software. The course also covers important market information such as market trends and drivers, and how to position and sell Avocent solutions. All Avocent partners are required to successfully complete this course in combination with Course 310: Reseller Technical Certification Training. Both are mandatory to be properly certified to sell and support Avocent solutions and qualify for Avocent’s partner project registration process.

Course 210: Selling Avocent Enterprise Solutions

This 1 day course is designed to take the student through the stages of a sales funnel introducing available sales tools and information to assist them in moving the customer to the next level.  The Enterprise solutions, both digital and analog, will be covered in the course with the student participating in group activities and hands-on labs.  The activities and labs range from analyzing the needs of the customer to getting familiar with the features of DSView 3 management software.  The class was designed based on feedback from our resellers who wanted more than just basic product training.  Through a concerted effort with our technical resources, sales team, and marketing team we are able to include information such as the market trends and drivers and also on how to position and sell Avocent solutions.
